Kang Shi Fu Chicken Mushroom Flavour Instant Noodles from China.

Inside the packet - the noodle block, and sachets of seasoning powder, garnishing and seasoning oil.

The small heap of seasoning powder.

The garnishing pack contains dehydrated wolfberries, mushrooms, chicken bits, tofu, and cabbage. This is the first time I saw red wolfberries in an instant noodle pack, which is a plus point.

The blob of seasoning oil was thick, reminding me of Vaseline petroleum jell. It looked rather intimidating and this was the first time I saw such a thick seasoning oil in an instant noodle.

The bowl of noodles in broth was ready within 5 minutes.

The wheat tasting noodles were slender. Soft and slightly springy.

The broth was quite oily so I did not drink up from the spoon. I tasted the soup from those clinging to the noodles. The broth was salty and peppery - it did not taste unpleasant but it didn't taste like chicken or mushroom. It was medium bodied from the sticky grease.

The dip stick test. The greasy slick was enough to turn me off taking a spoonful of the broth. I did, however, finished all the noodles in the pack for the taste test.
